I am a coterm student at Stanford University pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering where I will be finishing my bachelors and master’s degrees in 2022. There, I am a course assistant for the Product Realization Lab and help teach students the fundamentals of the machine shop and design process.
I grew up in Peru and lived in India, both countries where I have experienced first hand the benefits of thinking outside the box to solve problems with limited resources. I hope to apply this creative mindset to engineer solutions in areas I am passionate about. As an avid runner, I am interested in the how creative engineering and design can help human performance. Yet as a Peru native, I am passionate about how sustainable engineering can improve the lives of those in need. When I'm not working on a project, you can probably find me running, hiking, making my own clothes or furniture, and exploring the outdoors!
