Octave
In my house, guitar capos are a hot commodity and often get lost or left behind at friends houses. To intensify the issue, I have a small framed guitar, making it harder to find a reliable capo that will consistently prevent the strings from vibrating while I play.
Octave, is an octopus inspired capo, printed as assembled and designed specifically to fit the neck of my baby Taylor guitar. To further dampen the strings, it also has a 3D printed flexible pad.

This project required many iterations. I had to prototype the curvature of the clamp and the spring force to find the adequate shapes and strengths needed for the capo to work successfully with my baby Taylor guitar.
